He was enthusiastic to know, what is written in the Quran. From the early life. Studied the first English translation of the Quran, by Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthal - the first Muslim to translate Quran in to a foreign language.

After reaching Holy Makkah in 1975 C. E. (1395 H) started learning the Arabic language with grammar, from Dr. Wasiullah Mohammed Abbas, Professor of Shariah, Ummul-Qura University, Holy Makkah. Later on continued with Dr. Abdullah Abbas An-Nadwi, also an Arabic Professor in Ummul-Qura University, Holy Makkah.

He studied the various Tafaaseer and Translationsof the Glorious Quran and Saheeh Ahadees (Sayings of the Prophet). Studied Quran word by word, writing down the meanings. He first decided to write the translation in to English Language.

One day he was presiding over the meeting honouring the new reverts of Andhra. He gave his speech in Telugu. He was wearing a Saudidress and speaking in fluent Telugu. They appreciated his Telugu. This encouraged him to translate the meaning of the Glorious Quran in to Telugu, titled, “DIVYA QURAN SANDESHAM.”

He collected All the available Arabic-Arabic, Arabic-Eng., Eng.-Tel, Tel-Tel. Dictionaries. He used to write each word from each Aayath of the Quran then write its English meaning first, then write all the possible telugu meanings for it - Because there is no Arabic-Telugu Dictionary available. Then he has chosen the most suitable words tocomplete the sentence (Aayath). He tried to choose a different Telugu word for each Arabic word. Like this working daily 5-6 hours - after his duty hours - he took more than 12 years to complete the translation. He wrote more than 3,000 A4 size pages with pencil. He later on compared his translation with the English and Urdu Translations published from the “King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex,” Madinah Munawwarah. His work was reviewed by a team of Telugu and Arabicknowing Scholars (Ulema).

The“DIVYA QURAN SANDESHAM” was submitted to the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex, Madinah Munawwarah. After thorough scrutiny, it was published by them. The “Divya Quran Sandesham,” is also published by the Al-Falaq Educational and Charitable Trust, Hyderabad, India, for easy and quick availability.
